Maintenance Technician

Mohammed Jalal Contracting

 Job Description:

  • Oversee all electrical systems and maintenance operations within the Factory to ensure smooth functioning of the facility.
  • Carry out tasks to maintain and repair Machinery & Equipment.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs to optimize the performance and longevity of machinery and equipment.
  • Coordinate with Production Staff to schedule maintenance activities, minimizing disruptions to production schedules.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair electrical systems, including motors, control panels, and wiring.
  • Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to proactively identify potential issues, record and address them.
  • Manage inventory of spare parts and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels to support maintenance activities.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards for electrical systems and maintenance activities.
  • Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, including inspection reports, and equipment logs.

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience in developing and implementing preventive maintenance programs.

 Education and Experience Requirements:

  • High School / Diploma Certificates in Electrical Engineering and/or Mechanical Engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, motors, control panels, and wiring.
  • Excellent organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills.

  • Ensure alignment and implementation of JS purchasing strategies concerning Production Material, Non-Production Materials and Services, e-Procurement, spare parts, organization, tools, and systems.
  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies.
  • Ensure supply, cost competitiveness and quality requirements fulfilment.
  • Manage suppliers, including Global Contract Suppliers.
  • Establish effective management tools, volume report, savings and performance measurement.
  • Ensure and support full implementation of all Agreements (Local Purchase, Subcontractors, overseas purchase) and maximize their use.
  • Negotiate overseas and local agreements or purchase orders, as required.
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for local needs.
  • Ensure supply and required quality and lead times.
  • Follow best procurement practices.
  • Make local purchase orders and supplier order processing at Branch level.
  • Manage branch inventory.

 Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate with good communication skill
